Our mission at Hoofin' It is to provide a reliable, professional service to pet owners who go on vacation or leave on business.  We strive to take the stress of planning out of the owner's life by taking care of their pets in their own environment.

Hoofin' It has moved to Burnsville, NC, just North of Asheville.  We are now serving the Burnsville and Mars Hill areas.  We do serve other areas with a small charge, so please contact us with the nearest major intersection to your home to see if you are in our area!

My name is Sarah Armstrong and I am the owner of Hoofin' It Pet and Farm Sitting.  I started my business in 2007 with the hope of accomplishing two things.  First, and mainly, I wished to offer a reliable, professional service by allowing animal lovers  like myself to take vacations and business trips knowing their beloved pets are in safe hands. 

Secondly, I know that when my pets leave home and I am not around, they tend to get nervous and stressed - sometimes not eating.  I wished to take this stress out of pets' lives by offering my services in their home.

I grew up with pets my whole life and wanted to turn my love for animals into a career.  I have two black labs, Ivy and Sinbad, and two cats, Whiskers and Scout.  I also own a Thoroughbred gelding, Monte.  I have extensive experience working with horses and domestic animals not only with feeding, but administering medications and vaccinations and first aid.    I would love to hear from you.  If you have any questions regarding my business or comments (about pricing, the website, my service) please call or email me.
